Ready, start.... go!

Working in the healthcare field, you hear and see things that forever change your life and not always for the better. It can drag you down after a while. This is where painting came into my life.

For the past several years, painting had become my refuge, my liberation, my mental health salvation... the place where I went to forget about everything and anything. Completely self-taught, I just paint. I paint what I know... the places that I've been, the people and animals that I love.

Today, I am writing my first ever blog so you can join me in this journey of artistic discovery. I will be adding some painting (to sell) every so often. I'm hoping also to sell some prints, merchandise in the future. We'll see what the future holds.
